At Greenleaf Garden Services our aim is complete customer satisfaction and we deliver this through a combination of recognised horticultural qualifications and experience. The man behind Greenleaf Garden Services in Lowestoft is Martin Fiddes and he is both City and Guilds Levels 1 & 2 and National Diploma qualified in horticulture; not only that, but we think we might well be the only garden services provider able to boast an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service to go with our horticultural qualifications – the perfect combination for providing the all round gardening experience we insist upon.
Martin has extensive horticultural experience and after studying for City and Guilds Levels 1 and 2 in Commercial Horticulture back in the late 1980’s, he went on to complete a National Diploma in Commercial Horticulture. With this background in the horticultural industry, Martin has extensive knowledge of growing plants, fruit and vegetables along with all the equipment used in gardens and greenhouses.
Combining this gardening experience with working in one of the largest tree fruit orchards in Europe and delivering top quality garden maintenance to domestic and private gardens, commercial and factory premises, care homes and even caravan sites along with constructing and working as head gardener in a kitchen garden has provided Martin - and Greenleaf Garden Services - with a level of expertise few can rival.
And it's these years of practical gardening experience and understanding the science behind gardening and growing allows Greenleaf Garden Services to provide a comprehensive range of garden services possibly unique to Lowestoft and the Waveney area; we're equally at home servicing a lawnmower as we are checking the soil PH and NPK levels!
Martin has also completed the Norfolk County Council Master Composter course, equipping him with the skills, know-how and practical experience to deal with most compost-related queries and this important aspect of gardening, recycling and protecting the environment forms the basis of Greenleaf Garden Services’ green approach to garden maintenance in Lowestoft and the surrounding areas.
